INPOWERED: Empowerment from the Inside Out

Rewiring the Brain to Connect to Our Super Powers

inpowered-logo.jpg

No one needs to empower you! You are already empowered, yet as women we are socialized to be pretty and polite. Stepping into the empowered woman and leader we already are means hacking and rewiring our brains in order to tap our true power. Vanessa Cameron from iSpark Collective and Dominique Mas from Lead with A Twist are thrilled to launch a live one day workshop that provides a platform for women who want to connect or reconnect to themselves and cultivate their personal power.

No matter who we are, or where we’re from, we each have super powers. Sadly, in today’s world we’re often too busy, distracted or disconnected to access them on an ongoing basis. In order to sustain our creative potential, mental clarity and sense of confidence we must learn to connect to ourselves regularly by implementing these 7 InPowerment Practices.

Through working closely with a coach for nearly a year and avidly journaling about my experience, I realized that there were 7 themes of inner work I needed to develop within myself to claim a sense of personal empowerment. A super-achiever by nature I rarely slowed down enough to connect to myself. It wasn't until my chronic autoimmune disease forced me to slow down, connect to my deeper sense of self and listen to my inner voice that I learned how to manage my most precious resource: my spark an internal source of power.

The InPowered workshop will allow you to:

  • acquire the tools you need to develop these practices

  • formulate an action plan to bring your super powers to life for authentic InPowerment

  • reflect and recharge through yoga nidra (a deep relaxation technique that requires no movement

About Dominique Mas, Lead With A Twist:
After 15 years in educational leadership and 4 years of being a workshop leader for the International Baccalaureate Organization, I reflected on the transitions I had moved through in my life and soon realized these experiences were building towards starting my own private practice for coaching as well as designing and facilitating workshops. I combine my Masters in Leadership and Change, Coach Training with the NeuroLeadership Institute and my Yoga Teacher Training experience to lead and support as they identify their own ideal solutions and deeply connect to themselves to feel truly InPowered.

Dominique and Vanessa met through Dreamers and Doers and are excited to share this method and practice with you!

The Spark Soft Launch + World Kindness Day Challenge

orange_invite.jpg

On November 13th, 2017 we’ll be hosting a soft launch event for our Happiness & Wellness Consultancy: The Spark; fittingly on World Kindness Day. We’ll be introducing the world to our mission to inspire and empower people to be the change they want to see by doing small kind acts that fuel them and propel the positive change they want to see in the world.

In a bottom-line driven, productivity obsessed world, is it possible to be happy, kind and successful?

Event Overview:

Vanessa Cameron will share a keynote on her personal discoveries and her journey to wellness by working with her Wellness Coach & Co-Founder Ruth. Ruth, wellness and health expert will guide the audience through some simple and practical wellness exercises.

“On my quest for well being through high stress jobs and the stress-induced autoimmune condition that ensued, I discovered, that that those who are steadily well feel fulfilled by what they do and no matter how busy they are, find ways to be kind to themselves and to each other.”

 – Vanessa Cameron, Founder the Spark
